Steve and Marilee often refer to themselves as “zen” winemakers while keeping an awareness of science close at hand.

Like many winemakers and growers in the wine industry, Steve and Marilee firmly believe in trying to be more sustainable; however, they are also interested in repurposing things they already have in order to sustain a healthier product.

Steve and Marilee work with everything their grapes give them, but they are in daily contact with them so as to check their progress and send samples off to a lab to have the wines evaluated if need be.
